Whew, have I had a really busy weekend! My husband and I attended a local music festival featuring The Stranglers and Echo and the Bunnymen yesterday and today I’m watching the Women’s World Cup with friends at the pub.
Despite definitely enjoying myself yesterday, whenever I had downtime (usually in a queue for food or the bathroom), I couldn’t help but pull my book out to grab a few pages. I’m currently reading an ARC from Penguin called The Djinn Patrol on the Purple Line and loving it.
Today will probably be no different, although I’m rooting hardcore for our magnificent US Women’s team so I might be too busy cheering to read. Go USA! 🇺🇸

Depends where I’m going 😊 however, I have the kindle app on my phone. So, if I find a spare couple of minutes while I’m waiting around I can get my phone and read a few pages or chapters 😍

Yep, I don’t take my kindle everywhere but I do have my phone and about 2 dozen ebooks queued up on it!
