The Fall of Carthage: A Week in Tunisia

This week I’m crossing off a major destination on my travel bucket list: Tunisia! I’m currently spending a week here with plans to visit some of the incredible ancient ruins like the UNESCO Archaeological Site of Carthage. I’m also going to be taking advantage of staying in a beautiful resort on the beach, don’t you worry.

I probably won’t be posting much over the next few days, but when I get back I’ll be posting a lot of pictures of my trip as well as the books I brought along (apologies in advance for the shameless vacation posting coming your way).

Like any good bookworm, I packed several books before I even thought about packing any clothes or toiletries. Priorities, amirite?

My husband watched me gleefully pulling books from my shelves, shaking his head as I carefully debated which ones to bring. My pile finally ready, I started putting them into my carry-on.

Husband: “4 books? You do know we’re only going for a week?”

Me: “Oh my gosh, you’re right! I better pack another one just in case.”

How many books would you bring on a one week vacation? How do you decide which books to bring? Let me know in the comments!
