“It’s totally kick-ass!” – Joceapotamus

My favourite publisher Angry Robot Books recently sent me an advance copy of a book that I am absolutely loving. Since I received it I’ve been sitting in my little reading corner devouring each action packed page. From the get-go, Sixteenth Watch has been a heart pounding page turner that is made all the more intense due to most of the action happening on the unforgiving surface of the moon.

Military science fiction is basically the best genre ever and this book has thus far been a worthy addition to the genre. I recently shared on Twitter how much I’m enjoying the book and as you can see the exchange was delightful.

I can’t wait to see that new cover! 😂

If it weren’t for my day job that keeps getting in the way of my reading, I’d probably already be done with the book because it’s that hard to put down. It’s very rude of my job to keep cutting in my Sixteenth Watch time! However, now that it’s the weekend and I’m free of the 9 to 5, this is where you’ll be able to find me for the next couple of days:

Before I go off to read more of this awesome book, I’d just like to wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day! I mentioned in my last post how I’ll be spending the evening (when I’m not reading that is), but what do you all have planned?

If you are happily/unhappily single, then let me be the first to send you a Valentine. Even if you hate this holiday and everything about it, my little Trekkie heart still wants to send you some love wherever you are out in the Alpha Quadrant.
